One who satisfies the following requirements
Achieves the Academic attainment and Technical training
Holds Professional Membership in learned organisations
Is Registered and Licensed.
Shows Evidence of Continuous Professional Developmental, CPD, activities
WHO IS AN Engineering Trades Professional, ETP?
One who satisfies the foregoing requirements and functions at the level of a:
Technologist
Technician
Craftsman (Craftsperson) .
Tradesman (Tradesperson)
WHO IS A PROFESSIONAL
One who, among other requirements, is recognised as:
4 Qualified 4 Registered 4Licensed 4 Competent 4 Ethical 4 Responsible
WHO IS AN ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL
An Engineer or an ETP who has met the above requirements and has shown evidence of professional growth and development by:
attending Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Symposia
engaging in studies, either privately or through Distance Education to upgrade themselves
earning Professional Development Units (pdu's) and Continuing Engineering Units (ceu's) to satisfy the registration and licensing requirement
